Making butter is so incredibly easy. In fact, it only requires one ingredient! Well, two if you want to make salted butter.
Ingredients
1 C Heavy Whipping Cream
Instructions
1. Using a stand mixer, whip the heavy cream on Medium speed.
2. Keep whipping it until the butter forms. As it forms, the butter separates from the butter milk.
3. Drain the butter milk into a bowl or a jar and save it for later.
4. Rinse the butter using ice cold water to remove the left over fats.
5. Rinse the butter again using ice cold water to make sure the fats are removed.
6. Using a cheese cloth, wring the butter so that there's no more water.
7. Mold to whatever shape you want and put in the fridge to save until you are ready to cook with it.
8. If you want salted butter, add salt and other ingredients when shaping the butter.
