This is a simple salsa that goes great with anything. You can make it as spicy or mild as you want. It not only quick but incredibly easy to make as well.
Ingredients
Green Cabbage (thinly sliced)
1 Bunch Cilantro
1 Chile Jalapeno in vinegar
1 Fresh Jalapeno
¼ Cup Vinegar + some from the canned Jalapeno
Salt, to taste
1 Tomato
1 Can Carrots, in rounds
1/2 Onion, Chopped
1 Tbsp Sugar
Instructions
1. Thinly slice the half of the cabbage and place it in a large bowl. The amount of cabbage you use is dependent on how much salsa you want to make or the size of the cabbage. If it's a small cabbage then use the whole thing. Still split it in half and slice both sides to get it thin enough.
2. Add half the can of carrot rounds to the bowl with the cabbage
3. Dice the tomatoes, onion, and jalapeno finely.
4. Finely chop the 1 Chile jalapeno in vinegar (from the can). You can always add more of these if you want it spicier.
5. Chop the cilantro and mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
6. Add in the sugar, salt, and vinegar. Mix everything together.
